On April 18, 2008, the European feed of Discovery Civilization was renamed to Discovery World.

In November 2009, Discovery World adopted a new logo, slightly more in line with the Discovery Channel logo of the time.

Discovery began phasing out the World brand in 2013, first rebranding it to Discovery Turbo Xtra in Poland.

Discovery World was renamed to DTX in 2015. However, the previous name was still used in some countries until December 31, 2020.

DTX was closed down on January 5, 2024.
