On April 18, 2008, Discovery Civilization in Europe was rebranded as Discovery World.

In November 2009, Discovery World adopted a new logo, which was slightly more in line with the current Discovery Channel logo.[1]
In September 17, 2013, Discovery World in Poland was rebranded to Discovery Turbo Xtra, later in some European countries in 2016.
In 1 January 2021, Discovery World closed down in all countries it was still emitting in.
