The Dagens Nyheter (News of the Day) (abbr. DN) is a Swedish daily newspaper founded in 1864 by Rudolph Wall. It is published in Stockholm by the Bonnier group, which also owns the Expressen. The first edition of the newspaper was published on December the 23rd, 1864 (the paper itself maintained the liberal editorial stance from 1946 onwards). The main competitor for the newspaper is Schibsted's Svenska Dagbladet.
