1982–2014
The first Dave & Buster's was opened in Dallas in 1982 by David Corriveau and James "Buster" Corley. The company was majority-owned by Edison Brothers Stores between 1989 and 1995, when it was spun off.
There were three British Dave & Buster's locations in Solihull, Bristol, and Grays, which opened in 1999 but all closed around 2000.
2013–2020
This logo was first used on their flagship location in Dallas, Texas in summer 2013 and after being used on several other new locations over the next year, it became their official logo in September 2014. This logo is still used on storefronts.
2020–present

On August 31, 2020, Dave & Buster's updated the logo on social media platforms and advertisement campaigns.
