The desktop version of Diep.io (operated at the time by the main developer, Matheus Valadares) did not have an official logo at this point. Valadares' website used the word "diep.io" in the Ubuntu font.
The mobile version of Diep.io (operated at the time by Miniclip) went live on July 20, 2016. The title screen logo simply used the word "diep.io" in the Khula Bold font.
The game received a proper logo almost a year after it was acquired by Addicting Games. The existing "diep.io" wordmark was made uppercase and given added depth and additional stylistic improvements. A more realistic version of the game's tanks was also added to the left of the logo. This logo continued to be used on the game's registration page until early 2024.
The logo was updated shortly afterwards to remove the tank on the left. This became the primary logo used on the mobile app following the August 12, 2022 update.
The icon was updated to replace the realistic tank with an ingame depiction of a tank.
