Diia (Derzhava i ya) is a mobile app, a web portal and an e-governance brand in Ukraine. Launched on 6 February 2020, the app allows Ukrainian citizens to use digital documents on their smartphones instead of physical ones for identification and sharing purposes. Starting on 23 August 2021, Ukrainian citizens can use digital ID-cards and passports for all purposes while in Ukraine. The project gained so much interest that Estonia in January 2023 bought Diia and created a counterpart, mRiik.
