In 2013, Abcdin buy Dijon in U$42,49 millons of dollars. In 2016 Abcdin and Dijon launched the card ABC-VISA, removing the Abcdin and the Dijon cards.

On August 23, 2020, Dijón announced the cessation of operations "forever" in a statement on the website. The reason is that it was affected after the social outbreak, having laid off a large number of employees.[1]
