Discovery, Inc. (formerly Discovery Communications, Inc.) is an American multinational non-fiction media conglomerate based in New York City (formerly on Silver Spring, Maryland).

It was founded in 1994 as a holding company of the namesake channel and TLC (which Discovery acquired in 1991) and renamed to the current name after a merger with Scripps Networks Interactive on March 6, 2018.

On March 6, 2018, after the merger of Discovery Communications and Scripps Networks Interactive, the combined entity became simply known of Discovery, Inc. The logo is the same but refined and dropped the word "Communications" completely after the transaction.
