Discovery Kids en Español was launched in 2005.

Discovery Familia was created in November 2007 from the merger of Discovery Travel & Living Viajar y Vivir and Discovery Kids en Español.

2010–2014

Discovery Familia launched a new image in October 2010. According to a press release, the new image aims to portray the red as "warm, welcoming and informative, a place that Hispanic mothers can call home."
