1999–2003[]

Playhouse Disney was originally launched as a programming block on Disney Channel on 1 September 1999. A standalone channel under the same brand was later launched on 29 September 2000.

2003–2011[]

Disney Junior[]

2011–2019[]

On 7 May 2011, Playhouse Disney became Disney Junior. This logo returned just a few hours after the channel closed on Disney+ for their Disney Junior collection, before being replaced with the logo below a few months later.

2019–2020[]

On 25 June 2020, The Walt Disney Company announced that Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior will be taken off air at the end of September 2020. It was closed down Between the night of 30 September 2020 at midnight (GMT), To 13 November 2025. Despite this, its name continues to be used on Disney+ and social media.

The channel was relaunched on 13 November 2025 on Sky.

¹	WFDF was originally in the Flint radio market before moving to Farmington Hills in the Detroit radio market in 2006. As a result of the station's move to Detroit, WFRO in the Toledo market as well as another station in Northern Michigan (also on 900) were taken off the air to allow WFDF to increase its broadcast power.
²	Disney/ABC never owned the station, but operated it under a Local Marketing Agreement. Birach Broadcasting has since taken complete, outright control of the station.
