Disney Junior (formerly Playhouse Disney) is an American pay television network that is owned by the Walt Disney Television unit of The Walt Disney Company through Disney Channels Worldwide. Aimed mainly at children under 8 years, its programming consists of original first-run television series and select other third-party programming.

In Spring 2001, Playhouse Disney rebranded as Playhouse Disney Channel. (still was named by its previous name on advertising and marketing) and was given a new look (designed by Beehive; however, this was phased out in 2003) Even though the Mickey TV set version of this logo was phased out in 2002, the version without the Mickey TV set continued to be used until 2011.

Due to the Disney Channel receiving a new logo on September 20, 2002, the word "CHANNEL" (however it remained on international branches until 2011, a alternate version of the logo exists) was dropped from its name again, thus the original name was reinstated as well. This logo was shown on October 7, 2002.

In November 2010, it announced that Disney would replace Playhouse Disney with a new children's programming brand under the name of Disney Junior, bringing to an end of the "Playhouse" era after 13 years of its existence. The network didn't launch until February 14th 2011. The wordmark is set in Futura Extra Bold (Notice that the letter "J" has a cut curve). The letter "i" features a stylized Mickey Mouse with his head as the dot (though his buttons are yellow instead of white). It would later be transferred into a TV channel replacing Soapnet on some providers, on March 23, 2012.

In 2020, the Mickey Mouse head as the dot in "i" was changed to more closely resemble the character model as seen in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Mickey Mouse Roadster Racers, and Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures. Moreover, a shadow was added beneath the letters "Junior". However, the previous logo is still used in international markets.
