Disney Junior (formerly Disney Channel Preschool Block and Playhouse Disney) is an American pay television network that is owned by the Walt Disney Television unit of The Walt Disney Company through Disney Channels Worldwide. Aimed mainly at children 8 years and under, its programming consists of original first-run television series, theatrically-released and home media-exclusive movies and select other third-party programming.

Disney Channel Preschool Block

1997–1998

On May 8, 1997, Playhouse Disney was launched as the Disney Channel Preschool Block. The block didn't have it's own logo untill Playhouse Disney premier in 1998.

Playhouse Disney (first era)

1998–2001

The Disney Channel Preschool Block was re-launched as Playhouse Disney on October 4, 1998 before the premiere of Out of the Box.

Playhouse Disney Channel

2001–2003

In Spring 2001, Playhouse Disney rebranded as Playhouse Disney Channel and got a new look. It was designed by Beehive which was phased out in 2003. Even though the Mickey TV set version of this logo was phased out in 2002, the version without the Mickey TV set continued to be used until 2011.

2002–2011

Due to Disney Channel receiving a new logo on October 7, 2002, the word "CHANNEL" was dropped from its name again, thus the original name was reinstated as well.

2010-2011

From 2010 until Disney Junior's launch, Playhouse Disney used a logo based off of Disney Channel's "smartphone app" logo.

Disney Junior

2011–present

On February 14, 2011, Disney Channel replaced Playhouse Disney with a new children's programming block under the name of Disney Junior, bringing to an end of the "Playhouse" era after 12 years of its existence. The wordmark is set in Futura Extra Bold. It would later be transferred into a TV channel on March 23, 2012.

WFDF was originally in the Flint radio market before moving to Farmington Hills in the Detroit radio market in 2006. As a result of the station's move to Detroit, WFRO in the Toledo market as well as another station in Northern Michigan (also on 900) were taken off the air to allow WFDF to increase its broadcast power.
Disney/ABC never owned the station, but operated it under a Local Marketing Agreement. Birach Broadcasting has since taken complete, outright control of the station.
These stations are either silent or completely off the air at this time.
WGVX also simulcasts on 105.3 and 105.7.
