In 2014, the Fox Kids brand was launched again as a section of the Fox Premium Play streaming website after the purchase of MovieCity by Fox Networks Group Latin America. It was closed down in 2016 with Fox+'s rebrand.

Due to Disney's purchase of Fox Family Worldwide, Fox Kids and Saban Entertainment, The Walt Disney Company managed the international assets of the channel from 2001 to 2004, when it decided to introduce a new brand name to replace the Fox Kids brand, thus rebranding the channel as Jetix in Latin America on August 1, 2004.

On July 3, 2009, Jetix was rebranded as Disney XD, similar to Toon Disney/Jetix in the United States. It was still used in tandem with its successor as an on-screen bug logo until June 1, 2016, when the entire channel rebranded.

In July 2015, Disney XD started using this logo on Game On and XQSí / PQNão programming block promos.

At the beginning of January 2022, Disney announced the closure of Disney XD in Latin America on March 31, in addition to the shutdown of other linear television channels that it owns in the region such as Star Life, Nat Geo Wild, FXM, Nat Geo Kids and the Brazilian version of Disney Junior. The change comes as a consequence of the conglomerate focusing more on its Disney+ and Star+ platforms.
