Dnevnik (Journal) is Serbia's oldest television newscast and one of the most important in the country, being broadcast continuously on RTS 1 since 23 August 1958. A variant with sign language has been broadcast on RTS 3 since 2 February 2022.

The earliest known point of this intro's usage was the edition for December 31, 1967. It would serve as a template for intros of most Yugoslav republics' own newscasts at the time; however, this began to diverge during the 1970s.
