Do It Best was launched at the beginning of 1985 as Do It Center's premium store brand of home improvement products. It has since become an over-arching name for the chain.

This logo was first used as the corporate logo for newly-renamed parent company Do It Best Corp. It appeared on the brand’s "Do It Best Select" line of paints in 1998, but was not fully adopted until 2001. This logo is still used in a few other countries, and can still be seen at the vast majority of its outlets.
