E4's chunky purple logo was in use from the channel's launch on 18 January 2001 for 17 years.
2018–present
On 27 September 2018, along with the BBC Two's Curve rebrand, Channel 4's multi channels rebranded with E4 incorporating the Channel 4 logo. The logo has the purple "E" placed onto the Channel 4 logo.
