eVOD is a video-on-demand service in South Africa launched by eMedia Holdings on 5 August 2021 in partnership with the telecom company MTN. Its competitors include Showmax, run by competing media company MultiChoice (the owner of DStv and M-Net), Amazon Prime Video and Netflix Africa.

The launch of eVOD came exactly two years after the broadcaster’s free-to-air English news channel OpenNews (not to be confused with the more famous eNCA) rebranded to e.tv news & sport on 5 August 2019.
