Elkjøp is a Norwegian consumer electronics retailer, and the largest in the Nordic countries, owned by the British Currys plc retail group. It operates a chain of electronics stores across the Nordics, using the brand names of Elkjøp in its home country, Elgiganten in Denmark and Sweden, Gigantti in Finland, Elko in Iceland and Elding in the Faroe Islands. It also operates Elgiganten stores in Greenland within the Pisiffik chain of retail stores.

The coined name Elkjøp translates from Norwegian as El buy, where El is understood as shorthand for elektrisk (“electric”) or elektronisk (“electronic”).
