In August 2016, Nordic Games changed its name to THQ Nordic, using the "THQ" trademark that it had acquired in June 2014.
Embracer Group AB[]
2019–present[]
In September 2019, THQ Nordic AB has changed its name to Embracer Group AB to avoid confusion with the current THQ Nordic GmbH and to clarify its position as a holding company. In 2024, Embracer Group announced that it would split into three companies. The surviving Embracer entity would become a company tentatively titled "Middle-Earth Enterprises & Friends".
