Emoji (also emoji – The Iconic Brand) is a lifestyle brand named after emoji and licensed by emoji company GmbH, which has registered a trademark on the word "emoji" in up to 35 product/service classes and in more than 100 countries around the globe. They have no connection with the Unicode Consortium, the standards body in charge of emoji characters.
