An animated outro was added to commercials starting in 1991 to compensate for the Chicago area's surge in area codes from just 312 to the current nine, beginning in 1989, and just after the suburban 708/847 1996 split.

1995–2003[]

EmpireCarpet2002

The logo was slightly changed in 1995 with 800 added to the phone number. "800" was also added to the beginning of the jingle during this time. Starting in mid to late 2001, the website had started appearing in place of "TOLL FREE 24 HOUR PHONE SERVICE", this also marked the brief return of the "HOME SERVICES LLC."

Empire Today[]

2003–2004[]

EmpireToday

This logo was only used briefly along with a different jingle for a few months during the transition to more than just carpet. This is the last variant featuring the animated outro that had been used for slightly over a decade.

Initially, when the company added "Today", some early commercials with "EMPIRE TODAY" used the last of the 1995 - 2003 jingle. In addition, they alternated between the animated outro and the non-animated outro that was short lived. The final commercials in 2004 had used the animated outro.

2004–2015[]

Empire Today Old

In early 2008, the URL of Empire Today was moved below the Empire Today logo instead of below the text description.

2015–present[]

Empire Today

The Empire Today logo received an update not only on the typeface, but also made the Empire Man younger again.
