An animated outro was added to commercials starting in February 1991 to compensate for the Chicago area's surge in area codes from just 312 to the current nine, beginning in 1989, and just after the suburban 708/847 1996 split.
1995–2003[]
The logo was slightly changed in 1995 with 800 added to the phone number. "800" was also added to the beginning of the jingle during this time. Starting in April 2002, the website had started appearing in place of "TOLL FREE 24 HOUR PHONE SERVICE", this also marked the brief return of the "HOME SERVICES LLC."

This logo was only used briefly along with a different jingle for a few months during the transition to more than just carpet. This is the last variant featuring the animated outro that had been used for slightly over a decade.
Initially, when the company added "Today", some early commercials with "EMPIRE TODAY" used the last of the 1995 - 2003 jingle. In addition, they alternated between the animated outro and the non-animated outro that was short lived. The final commercials in July 2004 had used the animated outro.
