EPCOT Center

1977-1982 (development)

These logos were proposed to Disney, but were never used.

Prototypes, all proposed to Disney, rejected for unknown reasons.
Another prototype, kinda close to the final logo but uses a different icon. Rejected due to looking like a stop sign in the eyes of a Disney executive.

“May EPCOT Center entertain, inform, inspire and above all, may it instill a new sense in belief and pride in man's ability to shape a world that offers hope to people everywhere”
E. Cardon Walker, (former president and CEO of Walt Disney Productions) October 24, 1982

This logo debuted in 1982 when the original logo was criticized by WDP staff.
