Eurosport 4K was launched as a popup channel on May 28, 2018. It was later launched as a 24 hour channel in Russia on July 20, 2018 and in Romania on January 17, 2020.

On March 9, 2022, in response to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Discovery pulled 15 channels off Russia, including the Russian version of Boomerang and Cartoon Network.^[1]

2021–2022, 2022–present (Romania)[]

On July 21, 2021, Eurosport 4K updated its logo. In Romania, this logo was only used for the 2021 and 2022 Olympics before fully rebranding in November 2022.

Eurosport 1 4K[]

2022[]

On November 10, 2022, Eurosport 4K was renamed to Eurosport 1 4K. This change was later reverted.
