Five candidates bid to host the Expo 2027 or 2028 are: San Carlos de Bariloche (Argentina), Belgrade (Serbia), Málaga (Spain), Phuket (Thailand) and Minnesota (United States). Belgrade, Serbia was selected as the host at the BIE General Assembly in Paris, France on 21 June 2023.
Official logo (2023-2027)[]
The logo was unveiled on 28 November 2023 at the BIE General Assembly. Embodying the theme “Play for Humanity – Sport and Music for All”, the logo’s playfully fluid form reflects the deep & timeless connection between Belgrade and its 2 rivers.
