Fabergé, Inc. was established in 1937, inspired by the Russian House of Fabergé jewelry firm founded in 1842.

The modified Helvetica used in the logo was known as Fabergé Sans Serif, and was used extensively on the labels of Fabergé products into the 1980s.

1979–2002[]

In 1984, the company was sold by its owner, and in 1989, the company was acquired by Unilever.

2002–2008[]

In 2007, Unilever sold the Fabergé trademarks, licenses, and rights to a new company named Fabergé Limited. The new company's goal was to turn Fabergé into a luxury goods brand.

2008–present[]

In 2008, shortly after the the change in ownership of the brand, the logo was redesigned.

In January 2013, the company was acquired by Gemfields.
