2009–2011
Face the Nation began broadcasting in high definition in July 2011, becoming the last Sunday morning talk show to do so. CBS's overnight Up to the Minute is now the only American news program on any of the major broadcast networks and cable news channels not to convert to the format.
2011–2014
Face the Nation launched a new intro and graphics package on its August 28, 2011 broadcast. The new intro kept the previous theme music and the logo remained, but was re-arranged. The color scheme switched to a more saturated red-white-and-blue.
2014–2018
A new look and logo was launched on January 5, 2014, in celebration of the program's 60th anniversary.
