On May 16th 2022, Fall Guys was announced to go free-to-play, along with the game launching on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox consoles, and transitioning to the Epic Games Store on PC, with cross-platform play and progression right out of the gate on June 21st of the same year. Alongside this, a minor name change has silently took place, dropping the "Ultimate Knockout" subtitle.
