In March 2004, Fox Sports Net started using a logo which featured the initials FSN, with a plan to drop the full name from the logo come September. This logo is nicknamed the "pillbox".

In September 2012, Fox Sports introduced a new updated logo in all of its properties, including its regional networks, The "FS" abbreviation was dropped entirely and adopted the new Fox Sports logo followed by the region name. The name was also changed to Fox Sports Networks.
Sinclair purchased the Fox Sports Regional Networks from the Walt Disney Company for $2.3 billion in August 2019.[1]

Sinclair signed a deal with Bally's Corporation to replace the Fox Sports moniker on November 18, 2020, approximately 5 months prior to the rebranding.[2]
In January 2021, Sinclair and Bally's Corporation introduced the logos for the Bally Sports RSNs.
On March 1, 2024, it was announced per Sportico that Diamond Sports Group, the parent company of the RSNs, would be cutting ties with Bally's Corp. The name change is expected to take place prior to the start of the 2024-25 NBA season.[3]
On October 16, 2024, CNBC reported that Diamond Sports Group reached a naming rights deal with online sportsbook FanDuel that will take effect at the start of the 2024-25 NHL and NBA seasons. This deal also gives FanDuel the right to buy up to 5% equity in the reorganized Diamond Sports Group.[4]
