Wikicities was renamed as Wikia in 2007. The previous logo was used for a short time.

Wikia 2007

An entirely new logo for Wikia was designed by Mike Bohrer in 2007. The "i"s in the wordmark are amended to look like square brackets, an element which is commonly used in Wikia editing to link to URLs or articles.

2012–2016

The wordmark was modified in 2012. This logo was revealed on October 5, 2011 and was launched on March 20, 2012. As of 2016, this is now being used as a secondary logo.

This logo is still used in the Secondary logo of Fandom.

Fandom

2016–present

Wikia first launched Fandom as a subbrand on January 25, 2016. The logo consisted of a geometric heart outlined with a green and blue gradient, with the word "fandom" in an unnamed font. In September 2016, it was speculated that the entire Wikia platform would be rebranded under the Fandom name, and on September 26 it was announced that Wikia would in fact be undergoing the rename starting on October 4, 2016.[1][2]
