Channel 2, (Hebrew: ערוץ שתיים), also called "The Second Channel" (Hebrew: הערוץ השני), was the first commercial television station in Israel. It had the highest viewership of any commercial TV station in Israel for nearly 25 years before being split into Keshet 12 and Reshet 13 on 1 November 2017.
Its sole commercial competitor was Channel 10, launched in 2002 and renamed to Eser in 2017, before merging with Reshet 13 in January 2019.

This was used in a commercial for the then-upcoming new network; created by Udi Frieden.
1993–2017[]
For its launch, three concessionaires won the right to broadcast Channel 2: the new ones Keshet (קשת, Rainbow) and Reshet (רשת, Network), and the existing one Telad (טלעד, Television - Idan - Discount). Telad lost the concessionaire in 2005.
On 1 November 2017, the channel was split into two: Keshet 12 and Reshet 13; Channel 10 was moved to channel 14 and renamed to Eser.
