Automobile Dacia (commonly known as Dacia) is a Romanian car manufacturer that sells budget cars in much of Europe and a subsidiary of the French Groupe Renault since 1999 (therefore belonging to the Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance).

Dacia was originally called UAP, the full name being Uzina de Autoturisme Pitești.

In 1980, the Dacia name started being used on UAP cars. However, the brand itself wasn't renamed to the latter until 1990.

This wordmark-only logo was introduced on 29 September, 2020, appearing on Dacia's website as well as on social media and advertising from late November 2020. This logo was already the wordmark of the previous logo.
2021–present[]

Dacia unveiled a new logo in a video for the Dacia Bigster concept vehicle on January 14, 2021 via their Facebook page[1]; it is yet to be used on vehicles. Both the icon and the wordmark will be primary logos when launched.
The logo became official on 17 June 2021 and started to be used on models in 2022.
