Hindustan Times

Hindustan Times is a national English-language daily newspaper in India, and the flagship property of HT Media, a pan-Indian media company that also owns the Hindi-language Hindustan daily, the business newspaper Mint and the radio station Fever 104 FM.

Founded in 1924, it is one of the oldest surviving English-language newspapers in India, along with The Times of India, The Indian Express and The Hindu.

A new logo and newspaper design were introduced on 11 July 2009. The logo is set in the Vonnes font. Vonnes is used in the newspaper text along with the Nimrod serif font, which is used by the majority of English newspapers in India. The new look was created by the renowned designer Mario R. García.

2020–present

Another new logo and newspaper design were unveiled on 31 August 2020, HT’s first rebranding in over a decade. A new slogan (First Voice, Last Word) has also been adopted. As in 2009, the redesign was done by Mario R. García.

The new logo is in blackletter type (similar to its 1961 logo), as well as the new HT monogram, similar to the English-language Emirati newspaper Khaleej Times.
