Butlin's (first era)

1936-1975

This was the original logo used at all Butlin's resorts, said to have been designed by Sir Billy Butlin himself.

1969-1975

This logo was made by Bobby Butlin, Sir Billy Butlin's son.

The idea for Butlinland started in 1969.

This is the later logo for Butlinland from the early 1970s.

1975-1986

This was the first logo made when Rank Corporation bought Butlin's in 1972.

The Butlinland name continued on with the 1975 logo.

1986-1991

Starting in 1986, Rank spent millions on making over Butlin's aging holiday camps, and rebranded them as "Holiday Worlds". Four Butlin's camps at Mosney, Filey, Clacton and Barry Island had been closed down or sold off to allow the company to focus on its larger and more profitable holiday centres.

Holiday Worlds was all of the Butlin's Holiday Camps.

Holiday Hotels was the hotel business for Butlin's.

This logo was used for their merchandise.

This logo was used on the logos of the resorts, "Holiday Worlds" and "Holiday Hotels". It was used until 1999.

The Butlinland name was kept from the Butlin's past. The name lasted until 1997.

1991-1999

In 1991, Rank introduced a new logo for Butlin's. The logo looks similar to the 1975 logo.

They made the "Holiday Worlds" font in its normal look.

This was used for there merchandise.

The Butlin's Cone in red. This was used for merchandise, carpets and materials. You can still find this logo if you look at some of the carpets around the resorts.

Butlins

1998 (unused)

The logo was on the Rank Corporation website around 1998. Also, this logo was the first to drop the possessive apostrophe used in previous logos.

1998-2000

Between 1997 and 1999, Rank Corp. announced a multi-million investment on Butlins at Bognor Regis, Minehead, and the original resort at Skegness. They would build new indoor water worlds, multi-sports venues and entertainment. They would also announce the Skyline Pavilion during the 1997 season, with a model of the respective camps Skyline showing in the resort. Pwhelli and Ayr were transferred to Haven at the end of the 1998 season.

1999-2005

The logo was simplified in 1999. In 2000, Rank Corp. sold its leisure business to Bourne Leisure who still owns Butlins to this day.

2005-2011

In 2005, the ring and star were removed from the logo.

During 2008 and 2009, a new alternate version of the 2005 logo started to be used in conjunction with the original variant. It featured the words "Altogether More Fun" at the bottom.

Butlin's (second era)

2011-present

This logo, inspired by the original, was introduced in 2011 to celebrate Butlin's 75th anniversary. The apostrophe also re-appeared in this logo. Its use continued into 2012 and was made the official logo.

This logo is used on the doors of the Minehead resort where the nursery building is situated.
