In 1992, the logo (top logo) and the logo text (bottom text) was changed a bit. In conjunction with Proton's move to export its car to markets in Europe and Australia, among others, the Proton badge needed to reflect international class and liberalism. (middle and bottom logo). The top badge was only used in Malaysia, while the bottom two were used for export, the middle in Europe and the bottom in Australia
