In 2021, Intel discontinued its consumer Optane Memory and SSD products but they will still make Optane drives for enterprise sectors, as well as Intel SSD 600 series for consumers. Intel Optane line was discontinued in 2022 after Intel sold its SSD division to SK Hynix through its new subsidiary called Solidigm.
