Thomas Cook Airlines was a British holiday airline owned by the Thomas Cook Group. In September 2019, the Thomas Cook Group announced that they were close to going bankrupt and that prices of flights were increased. Rescue Talks were introduced to try and save Thomas Cook Group, however, talks collapsed and Thomas Cook Group announced that they were entering liquidation. On 23 September 2019, Thomas Cook Group went into Administration.
However, its sister airlines Condor and Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia are operational.
