This logo detaches the "L" from the "P". This logo had to be retired because of Wikia's new skin, which forces Wikis to have a wordmark's maximum size of 250×65 pixels. Used from July 2010 to October 26, 2013.
When Wikia implemented a new skin across its site, Logopedia needed a new logo. Initially, Logopedia used the default blue text for a short time which was used from October 9 to October 31, 2010.
At the time, the American clothing chain Gap had introduced a much criticized new logo. Logopedia joined in the mockery by adopting a parody of the new Gap logo, consisting of the name written with Helvetica Neue with a blue square next to it.
The new Gap logo turned out be short lived, and the company soon switched back to its old logo. Logopedia also later switched to a parody of the previous Gap logo after about a week.
Of course, the Gap parody logo was never intended to be a permanent logo, so on November 1, 2010, a new wordmark, this time in the Helvetica Neue font, was introduced.
