1988 (pre-launch)[]

1988–2009[]

1988–1993[]

Upon the channel's launch in 1988, as with the Nickelodeon logo, this also took various shapes. In Nick Jr.'s case, to emphasize the parent-and-child viewing aspect of the programs, two of the same object were shown, one orange and one blue (and smaller). These logos were also used for the opening of the home videos.

1993–2009[]

During this period, the "father and son" logo was introduced. Despite most of the animal variants as well the parent and child variants being retired in 2003 after the rebrand, the original version remained on some British shows as an in-credit logo, including Peppa Pig and Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom. It also remained on the 1999 Nick Jr. Productions logo and the dogs logo remained on the website on older games in tandem with the next logos, until 2009.

2003–2009[]

These variations were more geometric and detailed in design, feeling more cartoony in appearance. Some "Jr" designs varied in their tones of either teal or blue.

2007–2009[]

Show-exclusive logos[]

2009–present[]

In 2009, when Nickelodeon received a new logo style and font, Nick Jr. did the same, ditching the big and small logo.
