Noticias ECO (1988-2001)

The Empresa de Comunicaciones Orbitales (Noticias ECO) was a 24-hour news service from Televisa, which began its operations on September 1, 1988. It was the first Mexican news channel that had a signal covering the Americas, Europe, and Northern Africa via satellite. It shut down operations on May 1, 2001 due to low profits.
