On October 13, 2018, owner Powell Broadcasting announced that they would cease operations in the market, due to sustaining massive damage to their Panama City facilities at the hand of Hurricane Michael. Starting in mid-January 2019, they began simulcasting WCCN-FM "107.3 The Rock" from Wisconsin, this soon went silent on February 8, 2019. On February 12, 2019, the station began airing again under the "Classic Rock 95.9" name.

On June 26, 2020, the station rebranded to “Classic Hits B95.9”.
