FilmNet was a European premium television that provided new movies and sport transmissions. It was broadcasting in Scandinavia, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland and Greece. In 1997, FilmNet was sold in all of the countries except Greece to Canal+. In 2008, FilmNet became Nova Cinema.
