Filmfare is the oldest and most popular magazine in India dedicated to the Hindi movie industry (Bollywood), and one of the most popular entertainment magazines in the country. Launched in 1952 by The Times of India, it is today owned by Worldwide Media, the print publishing subsidiary of The Times Group. It is best known for conducting the annual Filmfare Awards for both Bollywood and films in other languages (especially the Filmfare Awards South for South Indian languages).
