Flipkart is an Indian e-commerce and online retail company and the second-largest online retailer in India, after Amazon.in and ahead of Snapdeal. Since August 2018, it is majority-owned by the American retail corporation Walmart.
Flipkart’s acquisitions include the online fashion e-retailer Myntra and the mobile payments platform PhonePe, as well as Jabong, another fashion website that was discontinued in favour of Myntra.

Flipkart introduced a new logo and brand identity on 28 May 2015, a few weeks after its subsidiary Myntra did so on 10 May. The string of the shopping bag contains a hidden smiling face. Riona Sans is the new corporate font.
