On 20th September 2018, Football Federation Australia changed their logo to match with the 2017 Hulsbosch-designed A-League emblem. Like the A-League emblem, the FFA logotype in set in Gibson. The colours also reverted to green and gold, tying in with the national sporting colours and the uniforms of the Socceroos.

On November 25, 2020, Football Federation Australia unanimously agreed on a name change to Football Australia. The new name was made official on December 17.
