Formspring is a popular question forum that launched in 2009. In March, 2013 Formspring Founder and CEO Ade Olonoh said on Formspring's official WordPress that it will shutting down on April 15, 2013 and you will not be able to post on Formspring from March 31, 2013 onward. The reason for the shut down was "it's been challenging to sustain the resources needed to keep the lights on." On March 31, 2013, Formspring sent out a update to the WordPress post saying "Great news! We have a last-minute deal in the works that will help keep Formspring up. More details to follow in the coming week." As of April 4, 2013 Formspring remains running.
