In December 8, 2020 on film "StarLightMedia. Next Chapter", was leaked information about restarting the show. Moreover, on November 9th, 2021, on presentation of Starlight Media was officially confirmed, that Fort Boyard will be restarted in 2022. The project was temporarily cancelled, due to the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
