Fox (international)

1998–2024[]

The international Fox brand was gradually discontinued on television channels in favor of the Star catalog in Disney+, Disney+ Hotstar and Star+. Between 2022 and 2024, all international Fox channels were either shut down or rebranded as Star Channel, or in some cases as FX.

On February 23, 2021, Disney replaced the Fox brand with "Star" in Latin America.

On January 1, 2022, Fox in Taiwan was rebranded as Star World.

On December 5, 2023, Disney announced that Fox in Japan would be replaced by a revival of Dlife on March 1, 2024. On January 24, 2024, it was announced that Fox in Turkey would be renamed to Now in February of that year. On March 1, 2024, the Middle Eastern channels rebranded to Star. On March 11, the Spanish channel rebranded to Star Channel. On April 13, the Indian version of Fox Life was rebranded to Star Life, making it the last Disney-owned Fox-branded channel to retire the Fox name.

¹	WFDF was originally in the Flint radio market before moving to Farmington Hills in the Detroit radio market in 2006. As a result of the station's move to Detroit, WFRO in the Toledo market as well as another station in Northern Michigan (also on 900) were taken off the air to allow WFDF to increase its broadcast power.
²	Disney/ABC never owned the station, but operated it under a Local Marketing Agreement. Birach Broadcasting has since taken complete, outright control of the station.
