Fox 2000 Pictures is a soon to be defunct American production company owned by Walt Disney Studios. It is a sister studio of the larger 20th Century Fox, specializing in producing independent films in mid-range releases that largely targeted underserved groups.
Prior to 1996, Fox 2000 Pictures does not start using one logo at this point. Just 2 years later, this logo had come into use as a print logo but this does not appear as an on-screen logo, instead using the 20th Century Fox logo. Following the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney, it was originally going to shut down on October 4, 2019, but it was pushed back to May 15, 2020.
