On 25 May 2012, following its launch of the new box Foxtel iQ3 and the merger with [[Austar]], the searchlights were removed from the main logo and adapted into Foxtel's wider visual identity. The wordmark was also tweaked to more closely match the Fox logo. The ''O'' was widened and the ''X'' and ''T'' became a ligature at the crossbar. This logo would also be accompanied by a new slogan ''Experience Better''.

On 6 June 2017, Foxtel abandoned the Fox-esque branding for the first time in its 22-year history, which was part of a move to get more of Australia to engage with the service alongside a refresh of their SVOD service [[Foxtel Now]] (formerly Foxtel Play). Sydney-based MAUD is responsible for the new logo and campaign. The lettering was replaced by a lighter, sans-serif, lower-case logotype in a light red-orange hue. The new logo saw the return of a side-icon: six dots forming a pixelated ''f'', likely referencing the spotlight motif consistent with Foxtel's former branding.
