Despite the turnover of the zone's operations from Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) to Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) and conversion of Bataan Economic Zone (BEZ) into Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) on June 30, 2010, the zone's administration building continued to use the Philippine Economic Zone Authority/Bataan Economic Zone name and its logo until the removal of the PEZA/BEPZ/BEZ logo and all references to PEZA/BEPZ/BEZ three months later on early September 2010.
