Frente Amplio (Broad Front) is a Chilean political party founded in 2024 following the merger of the center-left and left-wing parties that made up the political coalition of the same name founded in early 2017. It identifies itself as a democratic socialist party, in favor of participative democracy and feminism, while some reports consider its ideology to be close to left-wing populism.
As a coalition[]
2017[]

2017-2024[]
The logo represents the union and diversity of Chile's territorial geography, symbolized through the Andes in the lower part with different colors and figures, while the upper part includes a star representing a new political and social force emerging. [1]
2024 (unused)[]
During the merger process, a prototype logo was leaked in March 2024, featuring the FA acronym with a red star. This logo was highly criticized by social media for having a right-wing related aesthetic. It was designed by Nicolás Binder, creator of the Apruebo Dignidad logo. [2]
As a political party[]
2024-present[]
After completing the merger process in July 2024, the 2017 logo was renewed, unifying the brand in a single color, simplifying elements and adding the 5-pointed star of the national flag.
